Committee Reports:
Nominating and Annual Meeting Committee: Ted, Hilarie
No new news to report.
Special Projects:
Water Quality: Paula, Janene
- The lake continues to be consistent regarding clarity and oxygen levels. Paula, Janene and Ted just wrapped up testing for the season in early September.
- The results of a phosphorus test done last month show that the levels are very low which is really good news.
Plant Patrolling: Connor, Janene
- It would be great to get a summary of the results for this year and who the patrollers are.
Newsletter Committee: Debbie, Heidi
- We got good feedback regarding the newsletter. Debbie will wait until the spring to get printing quotes for next year’s newsletter.
Old Business:
Town of Gray’s Climate Resiliency Committee grant
- Heather Hunt from CCSW presented the report for a lake water quality ordinance to reduce phosphorus. Gray will most likely accept the report but it is unclear as to what the next step will be.. The ordinance has already passed in Windham, Cumberland and Falmouth with the enforcement clauses.
