The Highland Lake Association (HLA) is looking to wrap up our petition signature drive by having volunteers at the Post Office in Windham this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The petition seeks to change the zoning and ordinance within the Highland Lake watershed. All along, we’ve talked about the applicability of zoning and ordinance changes to the other lakes in Windham and have gained support from the Town Council. It is very important for all lakeresidents to pay attention to this issue.
