Forest Lake Association Trustee Meeting
February 25, 2025
ONLINE MEETING MINUTES
Welcome – Jan called the meeting to order at 6:33 PM. In attendance were Jan, Heidi, Hilarie, Antonio and Paula.
Secretary Report – Paula shared the November 12th meeting minutes. Heidi made a motion to accept the minutes; Hilarie seconded the motion. All voted to approve it, including Janene who voted in absentia.
Treasurer Report – Ted was unable to attend but submitted the following report:

Committee Reports: There were no committee reports tonight.
Old Business:
Annual Meeting July 19, 2025- Hilarie has a guest speaker in mind who focuses on native philosophy. We discussed the parameters and logistics of the annual meeting. Antonio suggested that the guest speaker focuses on stewardship. We will confirm with Ted our budget for guest speakers and Hilarie will follow up with her contact.
Review bylaws discussion- This was tabled until our April meeting. Trustees have
sent Ted suggestions that he will be compiling.
Facebook page comments– We have had some recent comments on the Facebook page that are not as kind or respectful as we would expect. Comments can and will be turned off when they are not productive.
It was discussed that we might want to start a winter recreation sub committee. Hilarie will reach out to Highland Lake and Crystal Lake to see what they do.
New Business: There was no new business tonight.
Adjournment: Heidi made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Paula seconded the motion. Jan adjourned the meeting at 7:07 PM.
