FLA Trustee Meeting
West Cumberland Methodist Church Hall
originally October 13, 2020 but rescheduled to October 21, 2020
Members present and following Covid protocol:
Greg, Janene, Ted, Kim, Paula, Cathy, and Jan.
Janene called the meeting to order at 6:36 PM.
Secretary Report
Paula read the minutes from the last meeting, June 9th, 2020. A few changes were made to reflect accuracy. Janene made a motion to accept the minutes. Jan seconded the motion. All voted in favor.
Treasurer Report
The balance as of August 30th was $17,272.03. That balance included $795 in memorial donations regarding Val Lagueux. September’s balance was not available. PayPal has been implemented. $550 in dues were paid via PayPal and there was a $20 fee. Kim made a motion to accept the report; Jan seconded the motion. All voted in favor.
Gravel extraction pit update: attorney findings -Ted or Briana
Neither Ted nor Briana were in attendance. Discussion was tabled until the next meeting.
No wake buoys – Janene
New people are needed to place and extract the buoys. Bob Tellison has resigned. JIm Gameros took them out this fall. The are GPS coordinates for placement.
Tree cutting in Cumberland — Janene
There has been tree cutting in the cove. They can be legally cut as long as they are a danger/safety hazard. There is always concern for erosion after tree removal.
319 Grant update
Watershed survey high priority site in Gray , FLA match money paid to CCSWD $1500
Two high priority sites on Larrabee Lane have been completed. FLA has paid $1500 of $3,000 so far. Heather Hunt is the contact at CCSWD.
FLA Logo – Debbie
As part of the 319 Grant money, a logo has been designed. Greg described the 3 in the running. The board came to a consensus on design #1 (see image below) but would like to add the 3 towns on an arch. Still not sure of the signs’ size yet.
Future plans for 2021 – Everyone
The next meeting will be February 3rd, via Zoom.

Liz Hamilton resigned as alternate board member.
The lake level is very low.

Jan made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Kim seconded the motion. All voted in favor. The meeting adjourned at 7:26 PM.
